Jack Pine Stables depends on grants and donations for survival. Lesson fees cover only a small portion of our annual expenses which include care for our horses (hay, feed, farrier services, veterinarian services, special training), instructor and coaches’ training, and maintaining and replacing safety equipment for our riders as needed. And we continue to transform our new location in Akeley from 40 acres of donated land into a usable horse farm suitable for our program. This includes fences, water, electricity, hayshed, shelters, arena and barn. We are truly grateful for all donations received, large and small.
